The end of an era

Western Union no longer sends telegraphs.

Kind of a shame, really. I lived in Rochester, New York, the birthplace of the Western Union company and home to it's founder, Hiram Sibley.

Sadly, Rochester has had its share of past fame and recent business declines. Kodak and Xerox were both founded there. They have had some difficult times lately as technology has evolved.
