Drawing Conclusions out of Thin Air
You be the judge. A theatre decides - with absolutely no reason given for the decision - not to show a given movie.
The reporter then solicits a quote from someone (with an agenda) which states as a flat fact why the movie was not shown.
But it could be for any number of reasons including financial. (This flick isn't exactly breaking box-office records).
It may very well have been for the reason stated by the activist, but it also may not have been.
For the record, while I wouldn't care to see it (not because I'm homophobic, but because it looks stunningly boring), I have no problem with anyone who does want to see it.
What I do have a problem with is lazy, slanted and sloppy reporting. Oh, and reporting straight opinion as fact is very sloppy.
